As Valegate’s story unfolds, the Valegate Network is buzzing with exciting events, technical updates, and community achievements. Here’s a roundup of everything you need to know from the past month.
📌 Upcoming Events
The Engagement Celebration
On Saturday, 20th September (time to be confirmed), we’ll be gathering to honor the engagement of two of our dear friends, TryhardArtist and Kitkat063.
This celebration will be filled with fun, laughter, and a few delightful surprises as we come together to share in their joy.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone helping to plan, organize, and participate in this event. Your creativity and dedication keep the Valegate community spirit alive and thriving.
💞 New Minigame: Half Heart Race
We’re excited to announce the launch of a brand new minigame coming in early September: Half Heart Race.
Half Heart Race is all about speed, precision, and skill. Your challenge is to race through an epic parkour course with only 2 hearts on normal difficulty and no natural regeneration. Every jump counts, and every mistake could cost you the run.
Looking for even more of a challenge? Choose your own difficulty, from a safer 4 hearts all the way down to the ultimate test of survival: just half a heart.
Push yourself to the limit, compete for the top of the leaderboards, and prove your parkour mastery. Stay tuned for more details coming soon. This is one race you won’t want to miss.
🔍 Staff Changes and Team Growth
This month saw a major surge in the Valegate staff team, with new members and entire new teams being established. We’re excited to celebrate these changes with you:
Ben has officially joined the Development Team as our newest Developer.
Aumakuaa has been elevated to Senior Moderator.
Rainy has joined and is helping lead our brand-new Creative Team, alongside her duties as Senior Moderator as well.
Vyzaur is stepping into the role of Events Coordinator, bringing even more excitement to our community events.
Our wonderfully talented new Architects, Mina and Glove, have already been cooking up some incredible builds, including huge progress on our market.
Please join us in welcoming and congratulating these amazing individuals. Their hard work and creativity are shaping the future of Valegate in incredible ways.
🔧 Technical Changes
The Development Team, as part of our continuous monitoring program, regularly reviews all gamemodes. After careful assessment, we’ve re-evaluated Isles of Vale (Skyblock) and made the difficult decision to temporarily close it.
This decision wasn’t made lightly. Skyblock has been a big part of the Valegate experience, but we believe this is the right moment to step back and give it the overhaul it deserves.
Our goal is to massively improve the experience with new features, smoother progression, and better long-term gameplay balance.
While the gamemode is offline, we’ll be working hard behind the scenes to prepare for its grand return.
In addition, we’ve been hard at work across the network:
New Store Additions: Morph Packs have been added to the Valegate Store, giving adventurers fresh ways to customize their journeys.
Bug Fixes and Improvements: Patched multiple bugs on Beyond the Vale and greatly improved the claiming system experience, including new support for claim overviews directly on the live map.
🏪 Market Transformation
Our market has undergone a massive transformation, becoming one of the most exciting hubs in Valegate. A huge shoutout and heartfelt appreciation goes to Mina for taking strong leadership on this project, and to Glove for all his invaluable help. You two are awesome. Our market wouldn’t be the same without you.
And that’s not all. There are even more exciting projects in progress that we’re not quite ready to reveal just yet. Stay tuned.
